Privacy & analytics

Hutt TradeWorks uses optional Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, telephone and booking-link clicks, replacement-calculator starts and price/assessment results, and saved booking requests separately from verified calendar reservations. Phone-click counts do not show whether a call connected, an enquiry was made or a job was booked. We do not record calls through this website.

Before you accept, or when you reject or revoke consent, we do not load Google Analytics or send it measurement requests. Your choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days using local storage. This preference storage is needed to remember your choice. If browser storage is unavailable, analytics remains off and we may ask again on the next page.

If you accept, Google receives pseudonymous cookie identifiers, page visits, these interaction and booking-state events, and technical information such as browser and device information and approximate location. Google necessarily processes your IP address to receive requests; GA4 states it does not log or store individual IP addresses. Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_37NGEBETC5) last up to 180 days and may renew on use. We send only fixed page, package, result, placement, source and promotion categories, not your name, email, entered details, phone number, unrestricted URL query strings or fragments. After acceptance, a validated Google ad-click identifier (gclid, wbraid or gbraid) may be held in this tab for up to 30 minutes and shared with Google on a reconstructed page address containing only that identifier. Google advertising measurement may set _gcl cookies. Revoking removes these optional identifiers and cookies. With your acceptance, Google Analytics data may be linked with Google Ads for advertising measurement only. We do not send user IDs or contact details, enable Google signals, enhanced conversions, user-provided contact data, remarketing or advertising personalization.

After acceptance only, we classify a limited set of campaign labels, known promotion links and search-engine hostnames locally; we never send raw referrers. A promotion link does not prove it came from Google Business, and missing source information is labelled direct/unknown. Fixed attribution categories remain in this tab for up to 30 minutes of inactivity. A fixed booking-link category may be held for up to 15 seconds to count the click once when the booking page opens; it contains no entered answers or destination URL. To avoid repeating a booking-state event on recovery, a one-way request-key digest and observed-state time are held only in this tab for up to 24 hours, with at most 32 entries; neither the digest nor booking references are sent to Google. Closing the tab, clearing storage or revoking removes this optional memory, so deduplication is not guaranteed across browsers or later visits. Booking remains available without analytics consent.
